As a Marine, Holly served as a drill instructor and as a First Sergeant, designing the leadership and professional development of an entire company of Marines.
Following her career with the Marine Corps, Holly joined the Broward Sheriff’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Holly first worked as a youth counselor, training children in the areas of communication, teambuilding, and conflict resolution. She then became a Supervisor of Child Protection Investigations, leading teams of child welfare professionals in investigating, developing, and resolving cases. Holly next became that department’s lead trainer, writing and teaching curriculum for line staff and management personnel.
After a number of years with Broward Sheriff’s Office, Holly started her own company, Child Welfare Training Solutions. As director of that organization, Holly trains child welfare professionals throughout Florida, in the areas of case management, leadership, and mastery of core competencies.
With Bonfire Leadership Holly concentrates in the areas of diversity, teambuilding, crisis management, and critical thinking. She amplifies Bonfire Leadership’s mission by consistently applying her personal philosophy: “To improve one life, is to change the universe forever.”
In addition to meeting the rigors of her professional commitments, Holly devotes time toward mentoring those who work in the areas of child safety and education.
